Recent work by the WHO shows the health burden of foodborne disease is comparable to that of malaria, HIV/AIDS or tuberculosis. This workshop will further expose and explore the massively underestimated burden of foodborne disease and its likely causes.

This workshop aims to shed light on whether and how greater access to information stemming from institutional or technological innovations can improve rural service delivery and governance.
